A native of Northeast Arkansas, I grew up in Craighead County, graduating from Nettleton High School and Arkansas State University. I worked many years in Lawrence County and have lived in Greene County since 2001.
With sons who have been active in athletics, band, Odyssey of the Mind and Quiz Bowl, I have traveled most of Northeast Arkansas several times over. My husband and I love to look for locally-owned restaurants and hidden gems during our travels, and I love sharing about the beauty of the region
and all the great spots to EAT, SHOP and PLAY in NEA!

Hi, I’m Shelby Russom! I grew up in Paragould where I graduated from Greene County Tech. In 2024, I graduated from Arkansas State University with a bachelor’s in multimedia journalism and a minor in photography.
My love of photography and travel takes me to various beautiful places throughout Northeast Arkansas. I have so much fun capturing the different aspects of our state. My husband and I are also big foodies—we absolutely love traveling and trying new places to eat. I like to think we are well-versed in the restaurants to check out around Arkansas!
